According to Leslie Harrington, of LH Color (a color-consulting and research firm), wearing red while exercising aids you in pushing harder and working out longer. Harrington explains, "The stimulating color increases energy by causing your body to pump out more adrenaline."

Awesome outfits sis, love those shoes.
ReplyDeleteHey, Melanie, I was wondering if you could run in front of me so I could look at your red shirt and feel more empowered. :) I can't wait to see how your shoes work out. I need some too.
ReplyDeleteMy thighs love one another... rub continually against one another. I could never wear those shorts. They have to be long and snug fitting.

My last pair of shoes were Rykas but mine were pink and green. I loved them. Just replaced them with a pair of Avias.
ReplyDeleteI just read the article about Kim Alexis in Runner's World. I've met her in person a few times. We went to the same (large) church in Jacksonville. She looks so ordinary (in a good, non intimidating way) in person. If you didn't know her, you wouldn't know she was a super model.
Oh, and thanks for putting my button on your blog. I'm still in the construction phase of my fitness blog, but when I get my "favorite fitness blogs" tab finished, yours will go there.
Love you, girlie.
Sandy
