Paul writes in Galatians 6 that each of us is responsible for our own conduct. We are afforded God's grace for salvation and also for living out that salvation. But we each are RESPONSIBLE for surrendering to His grace.
Paul pleased three times that the thorn in his flesh would depart. Yet God responded, "My grace is sufficient for you for my strength is made perfect in weakness" 2nd Cor. 12:9.
In order to realize God's grace for living, we must surrender to it and believe that it is sufficient...that it is enough for us even in our darkest days.
In doing that, we then see strength being perfected or completed in the weakness of our flesh.
Point to Ponder: What specific area in your life do you need to surrender to God's grace?
